Karen and Mark Hattan have teamed up to create their new Home by Hattan Design + Build Brand! Our new brand provides Full Service Design, including Full Service Renovations, with our in-house, fully licensed general contractor and Build Team!! Our new look is truly special, and our new service is fully concierge, so your home is taken care of from beginning to end - providing livable luxury delivered right to your door!

How It Works
It all begins with a Discovery Call! We connect through a Zoom call to learn more about your project, and we talk through how Home by Hattan can help you. If we decide we are a good fit, we schedule your Initial Design Consultation (or you may choose Designer for a Day or just a stand-alone Consultation should you decide you don't want concierge full service). This Initial Consultation kicks off your project, as we work through the phases below.
Once you're a Home by Hattan Client, here's how we create your beautiful home, working through these 3 Phases:
I. Explore & Establish: Discovery Phase
During our initial discovery phase, we take the time to connect with you and your vision, exploring the possibilities for your project, and how you want to live in your home. We establish the scope, the probable costs, the feasibility, the design goals and aesthetics, and the vision for your project, including an initial estimate for any construction required. This phase culminates with the deliverable of your Custom Project Overview Guide, which outlines your project and includes an invitation to continue your project with Home by Hattan through completion.
II. Plan & Purchase: Design Phase
The design happens here. Our studio will work to create design concepts and space plans for each area of your project, meeting with you to present selections for materials, finishes, and furnishings, which may include flooring, tile, lighting, plumbing fixtures, paint colors, furniture, and decor. With an approved final design, we’ll prepare any drawings or documentation needed for construction, begin applying for permits and scheduling trade workers, and purchase all of the materials and selections on your behalf.
III. Implement & Manage: Execution Phase
The construction and installation happen here, and we're partners by your side every step of the way, communicating with you weekly with all updates and progress. During construction, we manage all the details and serve as your advocate to ensure the highest quality of standards and adherence to the design plan and to codes, overseeing the demolition, supplies, construction, trades, installation, and final inspections. We handle the logistics to receive and install materials, furnishings and decor, and finish each project with a Sip and See reveal party to share your beautiful new home with family and friends!
